Among other highlights from 2020, we can mention:
Our Virtual Halloween Celebration: Students received a treat bag full of surprises which included candy and Halloween crafts. Students celebrated Halloween with a special virtual Spooktacular time. Photo gallery here.
Our Thanksgiving Celebration: Students participated in a moment of gratitude in celebration of Thanksgiving and took part in craft activities with the supplies they received in the gift bags they received for November. Photo gallery here.
The Virtual Science Fair 2020 – Students received a science kit to use at home. Teachers reviewed the science project with students during class and encouraged all students to complete their reports using ClassKick. ClassKick is a website that allows teachers and students to interact with text in real-time and provide feedback on assignments. Students recorded a 5-minute presentation to report on their favorite science activity they completed with the kit. Then students met as a whole group to share their findings.
